not enough power can be transferred through that audio jack to power the adapter.

they look interesting, i’ve seen a couple of guys in school using this product. to control your ipod in the headset is very cool. what i want to know is the sound quality and price. I don’t really care that much about the cords, we still using cords, surely in the near future wireless headset will be commonplace and surely I’ll get one xD
