Part 1 of 2 part video showing how to add an external MMCX antenna socket to a regular Bluetooth usb dongle with a CSR Bluecore4 chipset. This gives up to 1200 metres extended range and is good for sending adverts , wardriving , car whisperer , bluesniff , snarfing & hacking

hi could i use an xm satellite radio anttena as my blue tooth attenna
hi, only if it works at 2.4ghz. A standard WiFi antenna works at 2.4ghz.
trying to do this to a Jabra a-210. ant. trace different in shape. seems to be an actual short earth to hot side? can’t tell where to grind. with ear piece this makes ham radio wifi. but too short in distance. need a booster or bigger antenna either way got to get plug or coax out of unit. I am used to hf antenna building. not 2.4 gig. any pointers?? Thank you, E.
Hi, if there’s no room for a surface mount socket, why not just buy a WiFi pigtail and cut one end off, then just solder that into the headset and hot-glue it in place. That’s how I did my original Linksys USBBT100 Bluetooth dongle. Regards Tim.
Guess you didn’t bother to watch part 2 then?
